The computer graphics in this ad were all done with graph paper.
Adam Spriggs: “This sweet Atari jacket was a hand-me-down from my cousin. The helmet and binoculars were all mine.”
The binocs can be forgiven since this was around the time the Royals were actually any good. Bret Saberhagen forgives you.
Ron: “Confounded by the strange TRS-80 CoCo computer apparatus, we managed to figure out what the blocky graphics were trying to ask us: what is 6 * 7?”
CoCo is pretty much dominating the Yearbook today.
Adam Conover: “1989 Brookhaven National Laboratory Science Fair. Conducters and Nonconducters. The ribbon is for participating, not for winning.”
Blue ribbons, y’all. (Hi, Adam!)

“This is my friend Ryan that won a National Macintosh Gaming Championship for the game “Alley 19 Bowling” back in 1999. We are still very proud of him for this accomplishment to this day. Here’s a link that still commemorates him: http://www.dexposure.com/nmgc1999r.html”
I’m going to have to say that every single one of the pictures at that link are a Dork Yearbook contender.
“This is Jeff @ the XT playing Qix on the CGA monitor. Downloaded it off a local BBS. The Dork next to him is Joe.”
Qix was a lot of fun. Have you played Dr. Awesome on iPhone? It’s basically Qix plus Trauma Center.
Okay, talk to you later.
